Description
Sister to the Gion FR indoor weave, this outdoor interpretation depicts the same distinctive pattern reminiscent of charred wood. A characterful bouclé yarn punctuates the surface, giving the illusion that the design is lifting off the cloth.
Gion is named after a Japanese town and inspired by the ancient Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban for charring wood, a material Dieter often uses in his projects.
