Full time, Temporary to Permanent, Based in our Houten office and Showroom in The Netherlands
Are you highly organised and work well under pressure? Do you enjoy working as part of a team using your communication skills to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues?
ROMO, a leading privately owned textile and wallcovering design house, is looking for an enthusiastic and confident administrator based in Houten, the Netherlands. Family run since 1902, The Romo Group specialises in the supply of furnishing fabrics and wallcoverings to both the domestic and contract markets. Main responsibilities:

To provide full administrative support and customer service to our customers
• Accurate Order Processing on our bespoke internal systems
• Ensuring queries from Customers are resolved efficiently by both mail and phone
• Managing the sending and chasing of parcels with carriers
• Following through on sales enquiries by both mail and phone
• Translation of letters/documents/promotional material into English or Dutch
• Supporting and responding to Press and marketing related requests and enquires, including delivering responses to journalist requests
• Researching new press and media opportunities and updating our database accordingly
• Social media follow up, working in collaboration with our UK Head Office Marketing & PR team
• Assisting customers in the showroom with their selection of products for use in interior schemes, taking an active approach to understand their needs and requirements

Skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills, with business English language, written and spoken
• Candidates need to demonstrate the ability to work well as part of a team, have flexibility with their work approach and demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive team worker with a flexible attitude and the ability to use ones initiative
• A friendly and welcoming approach with outstanding customer service skills
• IT competent with the ability to use Microsoft Office: Word & Excel
The successful candidate will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, will be well presented and enjoy working as a member of a busy, proactive team and must be available full time.
